Hi everyone, I’m baaack! My apologies to my fashion lovers, I have been MIA for almost a year now…so many things have changed and yet remained the same. I took on a new part-time job last year at Nordstrom, the gig came with a big commute and even bigger dreams. I met many incredible people and learned so much about the industry and myself, I unfortunately ended up leaving after six months. My dreams and commute over.

I have been lost and in a funk ever since, trying to find my way back to a career path where I am both fulfilled and appreciated. I am finally feeling more like myself and am hopeful that new and exciting possibilities are on my horizon.

Enough about me, let’s talk Spring Fashion!

In this post I want to focus on the leather moto jacket and it is an essential part of our wardrobe. I actually have a few in my collection, but I have always been lusting over the holy grail of the moto jacket…an (similar here) IRO.

Granted, this jacket is a huge investment piece…but it will only get better with age (like all of us)! This piece will be your lifelong ‘go-to’ when you want to feel edgy, cool and badass. This cropped IRO jacket is an early birthday gift from my fabulous mom, I have been scouring eBay for months and found this NEW jacket for a mere fraction of the price. Worth every single penny and I already wear it constantly (weather permitting).

I went with a cropped length to match my petite stature and nothing is more versatile than the short length.

Style Tip: Throw a cropped moto on over a dress and instantly have the perfect proportions…always highlighting your waist.

Here are some links to more leather motos.

Suede version (great Canadian brand) | Faux leather (extended sizes) | Light colour options (watch for sales) | Amazing price point (real leather)

Wishing you all a lovely weekend.

I have been pining over this cape blazer from BCBG MaxAzria for a long time and I received it as a birthday gift from my handsome husband. My son Levi is obsessed with it, he is into the batman vibe and wants me to find him ‘a boy version’ one…that little man melts my heart.

I love how it is cropped (great for a petite frame) and that it zips all the way up, it has a double zip actually. It can be worn like a top, open over a dress or with a long sleeved blouse underneath for those chilly days.

I have been wanting a thumb ring for a while now. I follow a blogger named Blair Eadie and she wears a gold thumb ring and a Chanel broach I am obsessed with, I can only dream of the broach right now. Lucky for me my mom gave me this rockin’ silver thumb ring for my birthday. Can you spy it?

Speaking of birthday presents, these are my Manola Blahnik’s that Tim gave me for my 30th birthday. They are only a couple years old now (I wish, try 12 years), but I still love them and have an extra bounce in my step when I wear them.

And the best accessory of all…my Coco. She is the sweetest little dog, we have had her a week now and she already can sit and shake a paw…another genius Deutschmann, ha!

Wishing you all a wonderful Wednesday.
