MILD TEMPS AND WINTER WHITE
Our record breaking warm winter weather continues, it is not the typical Canadian winter and I am a-okay with it! I can’t remember the last time my kids wore their snow pants or winter boots.
We recently came home from Mexico and I wore these white jeans from Gap on the plane and wanted to wear them now. I have been on the hunt for the perfect white jeans not only for my clients but for myself, these might be the ones. I have been crushing on the fit and quality of Gap denim recently and you can’t beat the price either. These jeans have both substance and opacity, the front pockets are lined with a nude colour instead of white so they don’t show through…genius! They also have the perfect amount of stretch so the comfort is also there.
Style tip: When wearing white jeans in the winter follow these simple rules; pair the denim with winter fabrics, such as cashmere, fur, wool, leather or suede. Make your jeans the only summer-like item, no cotton blouses or sandals. I also like this look in all black and white…very cool!
This look is a fresh departure for my usual black uniform and my sweet husband said I looked like a snow princess.
Let’s just talk about these beauties! I adore the Gucci mule loafer but I will not pay that money for what I consider a trend. I found these patent loafers from Nine West (similar here) on a US shopping trip and scored them for a mere $30.00! The faux fur pom poms are from Aldo but would be a great DIY project.
Happy Wednesday.
