LADYLIKE PEPLUM COAT WITH DISTRESSED CROPPED GIRLFRIEND JEANS
The crisp air and snow is back again this week, I prefer it over the damp drizzle…and so does my hair!
It doesn’t get much more basic than all black and denim, maybe that is why I feel so comfortable in the combination. Some interesting accessories such as these fringe leather gloves and moto calf hair boots add texture, which is the key to layering black on black.
In warmer temps I pair these pants with heels for length. I was determined to wear these cropped jeans in the cold because I just love them, they key to making them work is a very fitted boot with a chunky heel that hugs your ankle and calf.
This coat from Ted Baker is very dressy and has some beautiful crystal stones on the collar, perfect for a night out. I like to pair it with casual pieces like this distressed denim for a modern look.
Style Tip: Experiment with dressier pieces mixed with casual ones. Try a faux fur jacket with jeans and kicks or if you are super daring wear sequinned pants with a denim jacket.
I always preach buying quality shoes and these boots from Tod’s are the perfect example…I have had them for over 10 years and still love them and they are in perfect condition.
Sunglasses, Dior (love these) | Jacket, Ted Baker (similar) | Jeans, Gap | Gloves, Danier (similar ones) | Boots, Tod’s (similar, I want these!)
Have a great day!
