FUN PARKA AND DISTRESSED DENIM
Happy hump day everyone! Well our warm streak very suddenly ended over the weekend and the temps took a nose dive…and that is an understatement. Friday you were fine in pumps and a blazer and by Sunday is was snowing and the wind was beyond bitter, and it has been chilly ever since.
This fun parka from Gap is so fun and the pink fur is unexpected, I love the contrast of the masculine green with the feminine pink faux fur (which could pass for real). It also has a cozy removable sherpa vest, which makes it perfect for these crazy autumn days.
Style Tip: A casual parka like this is obviously perfect for weekends, but would also be cool paired with a flirty dress and pumps. That kind of juxtaposition is what modern dressing is all about.
These high waisted straight leg cropped jeans also from Gap are a departure for me but I am beginning to embrace this new silhouette. They are on sale right now and are a fun addition to my denim wardrobe.
Since it was so chilly and I am always freezing I added a pair of patterned tights, both fun and functional.
I am also new to the bomber jacket trend and wanted to try it without spending a fortune, so I scooped this one up at H&M (mine is sold out, but similar here).
Just kickin’ up my camo lace ups from Banana (old, similar here), they are pretty high for this gal but are far more comfy than they appear.
Wishing you all a wonderful day…muah!
