PUPPY LOVE
I love puppies and so do my kids, we are just working on Daddy. Wink, wink. I will be that girl carrying her little puppy around town in her large handbag, yes and I am not ashamed! In their quest to get a puppy my two kids came up with a plan (complete with a budget including taxes), to buy a hamster and show how responsible they can be. Well we couldn’t say no and we purchased a Miniature Russian Hamster on the weekend named “Buzz”. He is a little furry puffball and the kids are beyond happy. Ava’s estimated budget was $59.60 and the total for our our supplies was $119.00, A+ for trying. I will introduce the newest Deutschmann in a future post.
Back to Business! I love this school girl inspired outfit, I generally don’t wear preppy or plaid but this look works for me. This bulldog wool sweater from JCrew just makes me happy and I love it layered over a crisp white shirt (style tip: I buy sleeveless button ups to wear under sweaters because I hate that bulk in my sleeves and it is a much cleaner line).
These plaid wool shorts are from Club Monaco (style tip: Shorts are great in the winter with tights but they have to be in a seasonal fabric such as wool). My favourite boot of all time, my Stuart Weitzman 5050’s! They are without doubt expensive but if you calculate cost per wear and utter comfort you will be sold. I am a petite girl and heels are my crutch…but these boots still make me feel sassy and fashionable, and I can walk for miles on end.
This black leather cropped jacket from BCBGMaxAzria toughens up my outfit a bit. This Halston Tote is my everyday bag and it has everything I need it including dinky cars, because you can’t leave home without those!
Wishing you a Wonderful Wednesday!
Your friend in fashion…amy.
Great idea about the sleeveless shirt underneath! I’m heading over the the Banana Republic site now to scope it out
