Sorry this one took so long, today we are talking wardrobe essential number three, the sheath dress. This is one of the most versatile pieces a modern woman can have in her wardrobe.

WARDROBE ESSENTIAL THREE: THE SASSY SHEATH
A sheath dress is a type of dress designed to fit close to the body, relatively unadorned. A blank canvas that can be altered with accessories to suit any occasion.

A knee length sheath that is made of lightweight wool and fully lined can be worn any season for decades…I myself have a black leather sheath that I adore! It is one of those dresses that I feel like a complete lady when wearing. This silhouette is also flattering on all body types. What kind of sheath girl are you? Above are three variations of a sheath dress, I will focus on one and show you how it can it work for a day look and then a nite on the town.

DAY LOOK: THE SPONTANEOUS SHEATH
This neutral sheath is perfectly paired with a sleeveless black blazer, cool printed scarf and some to die for fringed sandals. You can take on the whole day in comfort and style…isn’t that what every girl strives for?

NITE LOOK: THE SULTRY SHEATH
Every girl also strives to be chic and sexy when called for. The same sheath can be transformed using accessories for a sultry nite out look. I love, love this black moto jacket and don’t even get me started on the leopard pony hair booties! A silk scarf adds some lux and sparkly ear cuffs add the finishing touch.

Stay tuned next week (hopefully), for Wardrobe Essential Four.
